This article is intended to provide you information for how to create your Zoom login, Download the application, and Sign-In.  Then, there will be links to multiple resources directly from Zoom to assist you with all of the features and options of the Zoom environment.

Creating Your Zoom Account

Your Zoom account will be created for you automatically just by signing in to the Park University Zoom environment.

Park University Staff

  1. Open your web browser and go to https://park.zoom.us
  2. Click on the Sign In button
  3. When prompted, enter your Park ID number and password and click Login.
  4. You should now be signed in to your Zoom account on the Zoom website.

Park University Faculty/Students

  1. Go to https://canvas.park.edu and sign in as you normally would with your ID number and password
  2. Open any course you are enrolled in, either current or past
  3. On the left-hand side of your course screen, click on the Zoom link
  4. You should now see your Zoom dashboard through Canvas, with tabs for upcoming meetings, previous meetings, your personal meeting room, and cloud recordings.

Downloading the Zoom Application

While you can run Zoom directly from any modern browser, your experience may be better and you'll have access to more options if you download the application.  Zoom should be automatically provided on your Park-issued laptop for Faculty and Staff.

You can download the Zoom application on your Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS, iOS, or Android device.  Visit https://zoom.us/support/download to download the correct client for your device.  You can also download the application from your mobile device's app store.  Please note there may be additional steps to follow when installing on Mac OS.

For more information about getting started in your system of choice, use the following links:

If you are using iOS, click here.

Faculty and Staff may also desire to download the Zoom for Outlook Plugin to schedule meetings directly from Outlook.  Instructions to do that can be found here.  Signing in to the Zoom plugin is the same as the following steps for signing in to your Zoom account (see section directly below).

Signing In to Your Zoom Account

There are multiple places you can sign in to your Zoom Account, most notably the web as well as the Zoom application on your Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS, iOS, or Android device.  The process should be similar on all devices.

Signing In via the Web

  1. Open your web browser (we suggest Chrome or Firefox) and go to https://park.zoom.us
  2. Click on the Sign In button
  3. When prompted, enter your Park ID number and password and click Login.
  4. You should now be signed in to your Zoom account on the Zoom website and have access to your Zoom dashboard.

Signing In to the Zoom Application

The Zoom application can run on Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android.  All versions of the application should have similar login process.  Please note:  it seems logical that you would use your Park email address to sign in, but this is not the case.  Please follow these instructions.

  1. Open the Zoom application on your device.
  2. Click the Sign In button.
  3. Choose the option to Sign in with SSO
  4. You will be asked to enter your company domain, enter the word Park (so that the domain ultimately reads park.zoom.us) and then click Continue.  (If opening from a computer, your browser should open to the Park login page.)
  5. Login using your Park ID number and password.  (If opening from a computer, you should now be prompted to open the Zoom application).
